Rooted in the Valley

The Ranch House Retreat began with a simple idea: creating a place where people could gather well.

After years of living and working across the country, Ken and Marilynn Clark eventually found their way back to the mountains and valleys they had always loved. What started as a lifelong dream slowly became a place where others could step away from busy schedules, reconnect with each other, and settle into a slower pace for a while.

A Place With History

The house itself carries generations of history.

Originally built from a converted barn in the early 1940s, the property has long been connected to gathering, storytelling, hard work, and community. Over the years, the home and surrounding land became a place where people returned to spend time together and reconnect with the valley around them.

That history still shapes the way the property feels today.

The Way We Host

We’ve created a place that feels warm, welcoming, and comfortable from the moment guests arrive.

Nothing here is overly formal or overly polished. The spaces are meant to feel lived in, relaxed, and easy to settle into. We want people to feel comfortable gathering around the table, lingering outside a little longer, and leaving with the feeling that they truly stepped away for a while.
